He Doesn’t Like Me!

“Mommy, why did we pray for Larry?”  Randall wanted to know.  “That’s what God says for us to do,” answered Randall’s mom.  “When did He say that?” Randall was curious to know.  Randall’s mom pointed him to the bible, Luke Chapter 6:28. It reads, “….pray for those who mistreat you.” 

“But why pray for him?” Randall still wanted to know.  “He was being mean.”  “That is why we must pray for him,”  his mother advised.  “Most people that make fun of others are not happy.  We need to pray for God to help Larry with whatever it is he’s unhappy about.”

“I just want him to stop making fun of me,” offered Randall. I know”,  his mother said understandably.  “Good night. Love you!” “Good night mom.  I love you too!”
